Each year, the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix sees over 1,100 volunteer race officials deployed throughout the 5.063km street circuit.
Race Officials undergo theory and practical training and are deployed to ensure the smooth execution of race operations in a fair and safe manner. There are more than 150 different roles and responsibilities including observers, track marshals, flag marshals and fire marshals. Depending on the area of responsibility, each marshal can expect to clock a minimum of 32 hours training.
